A Message of Service & Compassion

For over a century, Lions Clubs International has been rendering yeoman service across the globe, touching millions of lives and uplifting the underprivileged and vulnerable. It is a matter of pride that we are part of one of the world’s largest and most respected service organizations.

The Lions Club of Bangalore Jayanagar, established in the year 1983, was chartered by visionary leaders such as Charter President Lion G.R. Nataraj, along with Charter Members Lion H.B. Shivakumar and Lion Dr. P.K. Satyanarayan. Their spirit of compassion and commitment laid the foundation for decades of meaningful service to society.

With the objective of expanding our humanitarian activities and creating lasting community impact, the Lions Club of Bangalore Jayanagar Service Trust was formed in 1993.

Twenty-four years ago, we established Lions Asha Deep Senior Citizens Home at Thatguni Village, Kanakapura Road. Spread across 20,000 sq. ft. of land, the entire facility has been constructed through generous contributions from Lion members, donors, well-wishers, and CSR support from socially responsible organizations.

Located amidst serene surroundings, Asha Deep provides a peaceful, secure, and dignified environment for elderly residents.

Rising operational costs and increasing expenses have made it challenging to sustain and expand our services. To ensure uninterrupted care and to realize our future plans, we earnestly seek your valuable sponsorship and support.
